The next gen change-makers

Our Uncommon Folk Farm was thrilled to host the Student Environmental Leadership Summit 2023, presented by Mornington Peninsula Shire and CERES.

This wonderful program attracted 15 schools from across the region as an opportunity for fellow student sustainability leaders to connect, share and be supported in developing their own school environmental action plan for 2023.

The schools came to the day having conducted an audit of the energy, waste, water and biodiversity status of their school and ranked themselves against one another. They then proceeded to share solutions and map out their initiatives for 2023 to continue their journey.
We were so proud to have this work and energy at The Farm, and want to congratulate the Shire and CERES for creating a platform to support our next generation of environmental leaders and change-makers!

If you would like to discuss holding an event at The Farm, or would like to learn about our own Uncommon Folk educational programs, please get in touch here.
